About
Guided by my background in journalism and editorial design, I approach painting as both investigation and storytelling. Working through biomorphic abstraction, I'm interested in how perception shifts across scale — from the microstructures of biology to the broader logics of landscape, cosmology, and technology — and in the quiet connections that exist between them.
Through layered mark-making, calibrated colour systems, and series-based research, I build visual ecosystems that reflect on pattern, tension, and how we situate ourselves in the world. My work moves between intuitive improvisation and structured design, blending a tropical sensibility with a contemporary, almost digital precision. Alongside abstraction, I occasionally work with figurative imagery, using recognisable forms from nature to explore immersion, perception, and emotional experience in a more direct way.
